Selah Foundation is a Los Angeles–based organization offering comprehensive community resources for women navigating the challenges of reentry after incarceration. The foundation is grounded in empathy, honoring the unique struggles, strengths, and needs of women returning home.
Our mission is to formerly incarcerated women to rebuild their lives, safely reintegrate into their communities, and achieve long‑term stability and self‑sufficiency. Selah Foundation provides essential services—including housing support, education, workforce development and job training, mental health counseling, substance use support, and life skills development—tailored to the multifaceted needs of women reentering society, fostering self‑sufficiency and reducing recidivism.
Distinguishing itself through an emphasis on individualized care and a holistic approach, Selah Foundation ensures that each participant receives a personalized plan aligned with her specific circumstances and goals. Our experienced team walks alongside each woman, offering ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement.
